CURIOUS THINGS

Rabštejn nad Střelou is a picturesque town in the Pilsen Region in the Czech Republic. It lies along the Strela and is known for its historical and natural beauty.

The privilege of using this title was granted to Rabštejn by John of Luxembourg as early as 1337. Rabštejn Castle

The castle was founded in the second half of the 13th century, and during its existence it served as a defensive fortress. Important Events: In the 15th century, during the Hussite Wars, the castle was occupied and destroyed several times. After these events, the castle was partially restored, but its importance gradually declined.
